Frugal Family Friday | Cruise Deals out of Charleston, South Carolina

cruise ship

Carnival Cruise Line sails the Fantasy out of Charleston, SC.  It is the only ship that goes in and out of Charleston, so your cruise options are fairly limited.  Fortunately, cruises to Bermuda, the Bahamas, and the Caribbean are offered.  Another bonus – the Carnival Fantasy has cabins for families of 5!

We cruised out of Charleston back in January 2008 when the Norwegian Majesty was there.  That ship has since been sold and not an option in the US.  Charleston is a great option for those living on the east coast, especially those south of New Jersey and north of Florida (as Florida has plenty of cruise port options).

November 28, 2011, January 9, 2012, and January 30, 2012 – 5 Day Bahamas (cruises Monday-Saturday)
There are several other dates with similar pricing with some that are for travel from Wednesday-Monday and visit the same ports.
